Family Time
I will expand this section eventually – for now, I’m focusing on local fun:
It’s hard to find amusing things to do with the family, particularly here in the northeast where it is *cold* right now!
Movies are pretty obvious alternatives! Keep in mind that White Plains and Greenburgh have 3d and imax options.
My daughter takes swimming lessons at New York Sports in Dobbs Ferry. I like the classes a lot (some teachers are better than others) A nice bonus is that the gym offers family swim on Sat and Sun evenings. You have to be a member of the club.
Now, if you don’t like paying $75 a month for NYS, you can join the Town of Greenburgh for $30 a year and you get TONS of stuff at such low costs. They also have family swim and swim lessons and tennis and ballet and tons of stuff. Here is the link to the brochure:

You should definitely check out the Wobble Cafe in Ossining. There is a play area and a display of kid’s artwork in this small place that is warm and friendly. The menu is great for adults and kids. A cheese fondue for a a kid – genius!
We can’t love iCarly any more than we already do
According to my discerning staff, Big Time Rush on Nick is a bit of a bomb.
